Show us your S22 cases!

How does the phone look in it? How do the covered ports work?

I'm afraid I don't have another camera to take photos with the phone in the case, but it looks awesome. I have the white S22 Ultra and it looks good with the clear back. The s-pen and charging port both have a flap over them that you open to access, and the speaker and microphone ports have a screen over them to keep dust and dirt out.

I was interested in that LifeProof case until I saw the price. I closed that one out quick. It's a nice case though.

That's super nice and clean looking. I saw that one and the Lifeproof See model with the blue border and am thinking to get the latter.

This is the Lifeproof Next case. It is so solid with great drop protection and covered ports and it feels great. Adds a bit of width but not thickness and it feels good to hold even with my small hands.

I'm tempted to order one but wondering if it will play nice with the Whitestone dome glass on the phone?

I've had the Next for past phones and the back scratched very easy. Very solid case though.

I've had a WSD on mine for awhile and the edges don't touch the case at all. And I don't have any scratches on the back so far. I really like it. It's my go to case. I also have a Spigen Crystal Glitter and a Samsung S-View Flip and I prefer the safety and feel of this Lifeproof.

Tried on my Tech 21 Evo Tactile Grip case today. Have stuck with the Speck Presidio 2 Grip the first four weeks until now.

Here's what I like:

-buttons are responsive and easy to push
-there is a refined bottom left part for easier access to the S-Pen (compared to the Speck case)
-it is easier to put on and take off than the Speck case

Here's what concerns me:

-the sides of the case don't have raised lips and thus present less drop protection (compared to the Spec case)
-the bottom of the case doesnt extend over as much of the phone (compared to the Speck case) and leaves a small area exposed between the screen protector and case
-the material of the case feels a little slippier (compared to the Speck case)

Just got my phone, no case yet...

But holy crap I couldn't imagine carrying this phone without a case.

Still waiting on my alcantara case from China. Said it shipped on the 11th from there but now figuring it got caught in the lockdown

Mine "shipped" on March 10, but was awaiting pickup for a while. Finally left the facility on Tuesday. On the way at last! Can't wait for some solid grip on my phone, been too timid with it thus far because of the weight and how slippery the leather case is.

I just ordered the Next case. Amazon dropped the price to 55 and they had a 10 off 50 promo when using Discover. Had one on my note 9 and they do scratch up easily but I dropped the phone numerous times on the driveway and parking lots and never had any damage. ATT and Vzw don't have it yet. They sometimes put them on sale super cheap.

Just ordered another case that has reviews saying wireless charging works:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU7055733

Received this case today. It is better than the one I returned but still not great. The wallet feature holds two cards max. The way the cards are held in maybe allows for a 3rd card to be inserted, but then the hinged back won't close flush. So I have one CC and license in it. I did also put a $20 and a blank check at the back of the phone before putting on the case. Even with these 4 items both my wireless chargers work so that is great. The hinged back opens the whole back of the case, not just the card section. That is not necessary and could have been designed better. Also the hinges are flimsy and I foresee, like some reviewers said, that they won't hold up long term. The top and bottom bezels are raised a little to hold the screen off a surface when face down so that is good. The sides do not have that same raised bezel though so the edge of the curved screen is more exposed than it needs to be. The cutout on the back for the phone is larger than it needs to be and does not conform to shape like many cases. (it is just a large rectangular cutout). Lastly, the side buttons have a good feel to make them easily useable.

I will keep this one as I like it more than the ATRAING case which had no bezels at all to protect the screen and had no tactile feel on the buttons. The ATRAING would hold 3 or 4 cards though and still close and charge. Hopefully as time goes on, there will be more choice in this type of wallet case.

edit: Update after using this case all day today. The back is a little bit slippery so I need to make sure I have a good grip. The sides catch your fingers though but that is because of the hinged back. Also need to make sure you don't only have a grip on the sides of that hinged back because if you do, it can flip open and you find yourself holding the phone only by that hinged back!

I wouldn't pay more than $30 for that! I cell phone cases mostly generic ones and the generic Defender clear style case like this I sell for $15 or $20 with the holster and very similar to this.

Speck Presidio 2 Grip, virtually impossible to remove your phone from this case :-\

I have tons of different cases and getting the S22 Ultra out of this thing was no easy task :(
@felloffthetruck:

likewise, i bought the Speck Air Skin case (and some other cases too) and the Speck Air Skin was also impossible (or at least very difficult) to remove off of my S22 Ultra.

UAG Civilian in black. Whitestone Dome glass and ESR rear camera protectors all working perfect with this case.
