Showing a draft message on my S9 but there isn't one

[Android Central Question]

I'm trying to find this supposed draft message. I've done the thing where you backspace, create a new text message then delete, etc. I've closed all the apps, restarted the phone, all that jazz. I'm just trying to find this phantom draft message or get rid of the indication. Any ideas?

I am having this problem as well. There is definitely no text, spaces etc in the message line. I have sent other messages to the contact but it still has draft written next to it. It is very annoying.

Yes. Just the normal message app that is standard for Samsung. Oh hang on. I had actually sent the 'draft' message to the contact about 5 messages ago so just went in and deleted it from the old message list to see what would happen and now the draft notification is gone.
Problem solved. Hopefully this will help anyone else with this problem.
