shut down want reboot

i was traveling across time zone last week went to check message and phone shut down. will not reboot or even show red light. tried a different charged batt still will not power up, refurbished phone had about a month. worked great no warnings, any suggestions on what may have happened. ( HTC droid incredible 6300)

It's a refurbished phone (as you stated). It's possible it was defective when new... then someone returned it...factory cleaned it up and you got it. Is it still under warranty?
