Side app tray

My wife and I both have an S3. We just had an update from Verizon yesterday. After the update she had an app tray that loaded on the side other screen with a small pull out tab and I did not. It has now disappeared from her phone and she wants it back. Any ideas on how to retrieve this?

You can hold down the back arrow to make it appear and/or disappear. Hope this helps.

It is not an app tray, its for running two apps at the same time and those are the programs that are compatible with that feature.

You can also disable/enable it from the quick settings in the Notification bar

just look for Multi window
