Side scroller "Mario style" game where extras in general are one-time purchases, not consumables?

Like you can buy another level or level pack for example and keep it, for as long as you have a compatible phone?

When I try to use the reviews to gauge how good / bad a game is, often times the 2 to 4 star reviews will not only highlight a major flaw with the in-app purchases (costing too much, or not being actually "delivered" and they had to do a chargeback with the bank) the review also mentions a competitor and recommends them instead, supposedly not having that problem. So I go and try that one instead, and guess what? It's the same or worse than the one that the review was initially complaining about.

So I was going to go by other members' personal experience instead.
