Sideloading the Lollipop update?

I can't wait for the OTA anymore. Are there any cons to side loading like more bugs or something?

No - sideloading installs the same software as the OTA version.

Download and use the all-in-one Nexus Root Tool Kit to flash the Nexus 5, your phone does not have to be rooted to use the program. I use it on my PC to flash the major updates to Android so I get a fresh clean OS on my phone that runs with no lag and is buttery smooth.

Tell the program to Flash the Factory Image and choose Lollipop and not KitKat, it will.
