Sidesync

Is there another app with the similar capabilities as sidesync? I know about Samsung flow, but I don't really like it. You have to be connected to Bluetooth to use and with side sync you didn't have to do all that.

I tried sideloading it before I made this post and it wouldn't work. It wouldn't install.

So I've managed to get Side Sync to work. Although I'm sure at some point Samsung will plug this hole.

In short I'm using Flow to connect to the phone but not display the screen. Then I use side sync as a side load. Only down side is it has to use wifi direct. It wont use USB. Both application must be running in order to mainitan the connection.

I will follow this up that you do not need both applications to mirror your screen. I simply done that for show.

What does Samsung Flow give you that simple plugging your USB Cable in and using File Manager in Windows doesn't do? That's how I swapped files quickly if it was just a single image or file or two, rather than using SideSync even when I had my Note 5, 7 and 8's? I always kept my old Notes plugged in with SideSync, just to have the phone screen on my desktop, but for a quick file transfer, Windows File Manager did it for me!
