Sideways pictures with hangouts

Anyone pictures post sideways when sending through hangouts on the occasion with sprint?

I get upside-down pictures in Google+ auto upload. Orientation is fine in the phone Gallery application.

For some reason Hangouts does this. I believe it's a bug with the app itself because if you take it outside of the app and send it .. The issue doesn't present itself.
