I have the GS5. I'm sitting on my couch at home and I notice my signal is bouncing from b25, 26, 41 with in a hour. and my phone is in the same spot the whole time.
Any idea why I'm bouncing around so much?

Mine does it but only between b26 and b25 on WiFi only, and I don't have b41 yet. So why does it do it are they still upgrading towers?

Yes. Most likely upgrading the towers in your area and all Bands are being noted by the device.
It should settle down after the upgrades. :)

Mav.

What app are you using to see this? Interesting.

I use Signal Check, LTE Discovery, and the debug menu ##33284# But now it seems to stay steady when on WiFi. And the debug menu says I'm on band 26 but the others don't show it weird?

And correct me but Band 26 is 800 or 850 MHz? Band 25 1900 MHz, and Band 41 (Sprint Spark?) Is 2.5 MHz. And I only have b26 and b25 in my market right now? And which would give me the best speed based on the 2 bands active in my market?

This is how Sprint's tri-band LTE network is setup, the network decides where to put you at any given time. If traffic becomes a burden on any of the three bands the network will place you where you should have the best experience. Band 41 should be the most priority due to it being deployed on large 20MHz carriers so bandwidth and network congestion shouldn't be a factor if your connected to it unless the signal becomes degraded then you will be placed on either PCS or SMR.
