Signal fix on the way?

Just got off the phone with Verizon and they said the reception issue has been "reported up to Samsung, with no response yet from them." So in other words it could be quite a while before we see a fix for this. Sucks so bad, I love the Nexus but I'm a Realtor and need good cell reception. Arggggggg!!!!!

I'm an Android guy through and through but we have to call a spade a spade and realize this is the kind of thing that drive people to iPhone.

haha...look at my signature...it's actually in my past

on a different note, I think we might have got some sort of small fix. I did a battery pull and when the phone restarted there was a real quick thing that said Android updated and now the reception seems to be a bit better. Anyone else try a pull yet?

JB helped my signal some, but I am experiencing more drops and it seems to be trying to switch between 3g & 4g way more often now. I have also had issues with it never reconnecting when trying to make the switch from one or the other. So much so that I have set the phone to CDMA only. That has helped with the signal drops and switching, but not the strength. Very frustrating as I had been hoping this last update would be the Holy Grail.

Stupid me.

I'm considering calling Verizon and seeing if I can switch to an S3. This is my 3rd GNex and I've just about given up. Great device ruined by crap radios.
