Please forgive me if this has been answered already. I have the eris and the signal strength is poor. My wifes BB always gets better signal,we are both on verizon.
Can anyone tell if the nexus will get better signal. I usually only get one bar while the wife gets three. This is very annoying.

On your Eris, have you tried dialing *228, then pressing option 2 and updated your PRL to ensure you are catching the closest towers. This may be what is causing your wife to get better reception, if she is more current with the towers in the surrounding area.

yes, unless I need to do it constantly, it does not make a significant difference.

Once a month is the recommendation for those updates, to ensure you are kept most current.
