Silent email, but loud text messages?

Is there a way to set up separate sound profiles for email and text messages? The only setting I see is "notification ring tone" that seems to cover both email and text messages.

I'd like to hear new text messages, but I want new email to remain silent.

Go into each app and look under settings, you can set the notification sounds as you please. Should be able to just have emails be silent or vibrate, and then adjust your text app to have a sound you like play.
