Silicone Sleeves for The Beans

Yeah I've had no luck getting 1 set lol
I am going to call again today. Last Tuesday they told me they had the request and there and they didn't know why no action was taken on it. They asked I give them a week and here we are :)

I called today to check on my ticket number for them and they told me that they shipped out on the 22nd and it usually takes about two weeks. I don't know how they ship them but I guess they'll just show up because nothing is showing as enroute for me from UPS nor FedEx.

I called last Saturday and they sent a priority request because its been so long. Haven't heard anything since.

Both my pairs arrived with DHL, in Europe so it might be different for US.....maybe Trump will deliver them lol

I took one of my buds live out of my ear today and the silicone cap remained in my ear.

Thats the last straw for me in using these silicone caps

To be honest I only used them 2 or 3 times then went back to naked buds ;)

To be honest I had no issues using the Buds Live 'naked' too but thought I'd get the silicone caps to see if they brought anything new for me in using them.

I think the seals a little better but is negligible overall.

There now sat in the retail box the Buds came in.

I started the process of trying to get a set of silicone sleeves on October 5. After my 3rd call to Samsung and them constantly promising I would have them in approximately a week I just gave up on them.

In the meantime, I dealt with them being loose and ill fitting. Eventually, the left one fell out and unfortunately into a bucket of paint while I was painting my deck rendering it effectively dead. Technically it still works but at about half volume and sounds hollow and tinny.

With no sign of the silicone sleeves in sight and no real expectation that I ever would see them, I decided to order a pair of the Buds Plus this morning to replace my old Buds instead of re-ordering the Galaxy Buds Live.

I just received a notification that they shipped my Buds Plus to me before going out to check the mail. Guess what was in today's mail?

Seriously Samsung :(

So these silicone sleeves do what exactly? I just got my lives and im having an issue with my left bud being seated in my ear correctly. My right one goes in and stays perfectly. Does this help with that ?

It makes the smooth butt end of it a little tackier and stops it from moving around quite so much. They are really thin though. I don't know that they change/improve the fit all that much. Maybe they do just because they stay where you put them better than without.

I can't feel any difference with or without them to be honest.

I've read some users says it improves ANC as it provides a better seal.

Others mention that maybe one Live Bud does not fit too well due to the shape of their ear so the silicone cap provides a better fit.

For me after a short while they moved around covering the sensors sometimes causing the tap to start , stop etc not to respond, and on one occasion I removed a bed from my ear and the silicone cap remained in my ear.

That was the final straw for me.
