Has anyone had this error? I have been having this error once or twice a day. The only way to get it to read my sim is to reboot my phone. I have no idea how many missed calls I've had because of this issue.

I paid cash for the phone at best buy about a month ago. Who do I need to deal with to resolve this issue.? Will verizon help me or do I need to contact samsung? Thanks

Hi there,

My suggestion would be to ask Verizon for a new SIM. When I've had connectivity issues in the past, getting a new SIM from my carrier resolved the issues.

I called verizon today and they are sending me out a new sim. Hopefully that will fix the problem that I have been experiencing.

I had this problem. I went to Costco where I bought it and they pulled the SIM card out and then put it back in. That seemed to resolve the issue.

I've taken it out and put it back in but it keeps doing it. Hopefully it is just a sim issue.

I've had this problem since the December security update. There is no pattern to the error, it's completely random.

I've tried 2 new sims from Verizon and even did a factory reset after installing Marshmallow. Didn't solve the problem.

Verizon tells me that no one else is reporting a problem.

Good luck! Would really appreciate a resolution.

Thanks, I'll let you know if the sim solves the issue. I have my doubts.
