sim card not readable

So my note 4 isn't connected to a cellular service. It used to be, then I reactivated my iphone. I've been using my note 4 as a wifi device for like 4 months and today all of a sudden I got a sim card not readable prompt. Anyone know what the deal is with this?

When i got that in my note 2, it was that the card went bad.

Is the card working in another phone?

Put it in a adapter and plug it in the USB port on a computer, if it doesn't show up its toast. Happen to my 32gig card.
