Hello,

My phone's Digitizer recently broke so I had to revert to the DROID 1 phone and I have consequently lost all of my contacts along with other personal data... My old HTC Thunderbolt still functions and everything I just can't interact with the screen/phone in any way. Is there anyway for me to Export/Import my contact list (and any other metadata) from my old Thunderbolt to either my computer (via USB connection) or to the other phone directly (I don't think this is possible without actually being at the store but I have been wrong before). Thanks any help will be much appreciated :)

Log in to your google account on the web, are your contacts there?

Did you actually have all your contacts saved to your SD Card? They wouldn't be on your SIM. I use the Verizon Backup Assistant, and all my contacts were restored after I did a factory reset, but if you weren't using that, or Google contacts, then I am unsure how you can read the contacts off the phone itself. You could try hooking up to a computer and launching HTC Sync, but it looks like you need to be able to interact with the phone to get the Contacts to Sync.

Yeah I didn't have my phone backed up like that, I have had these contacts for awhile before they needed to be backed up and when I transferred them over to this new phone it never backed them up via Google or Verizon backup assistant (I tried both of those first :/)... I think i'll just take it into the store and see if they can do a transfer to my "new" phone.

Thank you anyways!
