Anyone on Note 8 DS UK and hasn't had a update since August, there's now a update available to bring it up December it's not available OTA as yet but can be done via swart switch on computer or the firmware is available on sammobile.

I bought through a reseller on ebay. "Unlocked" is North American speak for not tied to any carrier, usually bought directly from manufacturer or a reseller.

I got the update when I got the phone (Jan 4th). Within an hour of first power up and while I was setting up the phone the notification for software update came through.

Mine is a UAE region variant.

There is an update for UK unlocked now OTA 841.99mb.
Haven't time to do it right now.

Yes, finally, as others are getting oreo an unlocked UK flagship Samsung Note 8 phone finally moves from the 1st August security patch - not impressed Samsung!

yep, we were the first to get it, paying the biggest buck, but were made wait last for the important stuff, made wait VERY LAST
