Who is still using a S23 series phone?

Got it for my wife, when released. Still runs smooth. No issues. Battery lasts 4-5 hr screen time which is decent considering the time we had.

Is the battery too hard or expensive to replace? Mine is starting to show signs of battery weakening. It's still holding on, but when the time comes I would like to be prepared. Thank you!

It shouldn't be anything crazy but get an estimate from a couple places

S23U still going strong. Battery doesn't last as long as it used to, but not terrible. But I am considering the S26U since S23U is finally paid off after 3 years (Verizon)

I called ubreakifix for S23U battery. The person said OEM battery $90. Good deal I think.

I can get through the day still on my S23U but not as high as before.

So do I trade in my S22U for $1100 and get the S26U? Trade my iPhone 15 for $1300 and get the 26U for basically nothing?

I'm sure I would be ok with living with an S26U but not really that excited about it.

Or spend $100 for a new battery and just enjoy it until I am really excited about a future phone?

Get the new battery and keep your S23U.

Yeah, that is, if they can successfully open your device, and seal it back up without issue.
