Simple and classy clock widget "BobClockD3"

Here is a screen grab of the clock widget running on my Samsung Epic 4G.

I, like many others, have been fed up with the overrated sense clock look-a-likes and have opted for something that would appear simple yet stylish. The "date" font size can be tweaked and mine is set to "large." The color and opacities of the "hour" and "minutes" can be tweaked. Touching the widget to open an application of your choosing can be toggled.

Overall, I really like this widget and felt compelled to share it with you guys. Pardon me if this widget has already been talked about, I searched the forums and could not find it anywhere on AC.

I've been looking for a new clock widget for a while , I also had enough of the HTC Sense look-a-like clock
As much as like the "Digital Clock" Widget (The one extracted from the Xperia Arc) , I rather have a 2nd option (At moment , nothing is tempting in the Android Market)

People have widgets fixed on their home screens in order to always have access/view of them. Yes, widgets serve a practical purpose in which they have a utility purpose. Some are as simple as clocks and calenders while others can be for something more complex like app mini-drawers or settings/control toolbar. No matter what utility these widgets serve, we can all agree that we would like them to be aesthetically pleasing or unique.

Hence, there are a plethora of essentially the same widgets with different skins/themes because we actually care about how they appear which brings me to my final point. How our widgets appear is more rather a "component" of a theme. We tend to want to go for a certain look and so I bother introducing a widget that someone may like to use to fit in their overall look/theme of their phone.

Anyways, hope other people like the widget.
