When the pre-orders started shipping early, there were alot of happy customers...now it seems that the only posts we see are those who are frustrated (whether it be the vendor/store or shipping company, etc)...

Curious to see what the ratio of good experiences to bad are here...
 
Great experience. Ordered on August 24th thru Verizon and got my note8 on Sept 5th:)
 
I suspect the majority of the unhappy pre-orderers dealt with BB. they are very scattered, confused, and giving inaccurate information.
 
Very good! I preordered AT&T through Best buy (Because AT&T won't ship a pre-order to anywhere other than my billing which is a PO Box). Best Buy actually called me at 5am one morning last week (Wednesday the 6th, I think?) to get info on my AT&T account- I was up anyway, and I would have been disappointed if my shipment was delayed. Got the phone Monday, the 11th.
 
Good so far. No problems ordering or getting it on the 5th. A little glitch activating it on Verizon but solved pretty quickly. Now if they will just let me know UPS safely delivered my Pixel XL back to them and that they are crediting my account the promised 480.00 I'll say outstanding.

update. UPS said it was delivered today to Verizon. They originally said it would take 3 days and it took 8 but that's ok. Now to see what Verizon says. But love the phone and getting it was easy.

it would be nice if it was a double poll. good or bad and which carrier/other. I would love to see those stats. *chuckles wickedly*

Originally ordered via samsung for the Note 7 promo. Felt like I would vet screwed somehow so I canceled and ordered from AT&T. Got it a week ago.
 
I had an excellent experience.

Ordered on the 24th using the Note 7 Promo on the Samsung Site.

Received the phone and Gear 360 camera on Thurs the 7th. Got the case on the 12th.

Sent in my phone the 8th and they received it on the 13th.

Not a hiccup at all in the process.
 
Great experience. Ordered Verizon version through Best Buy, received $150 discount and $240 off for my 3 year old phone. Plus approved for my pre-order gift.

I have had my Note 8 since September 6th. Great pre-order experience with Best Buy.
 
Depends where you preordered.
I preordered from Samsung (first time) and it was a horrible experience. Usually my preorders are good
 
Somewhat Crappy so far...

Ordered from samsung on the 28th, got it on the 12th. Recieved the charger... still waiting on my sd card.

I contacted Samsung who escalated my claim of not receiving my sd card. Its still showing as preorder on their website. Was told to wait 24-48 hours for a response back.

Called today...3 days later..., now they say it's 24-48 WORKING HOURS...WTF.. 6 FING DAYS to contact me... Samsung customer service sucks...
 
Overall it was a good experience. It was easy to place the order and it arrived on the promised date. However communication from my carrier was shocking. They still haven't sent me a confirmation email or any communication to say that the phone had been dispatched. Customer services also had no clue what was going on.

I pre-ordered on August the 25th from O2 and got my phone today which was the launch date in the U.K.
 
Super positive. UPS delivered it at 8pm though. And I live RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from the facility.
