I am trying to use bubbies one click root program and I am failing miserably. this is what I get when I try to run it:

HTC Inspire 4G Simple One Click S-OFF, Downgrade, Clockwork, Root
Scripted by bubby323 of XDA-Developers
Press any key to continue . . .
Press any key to continue . . .
Changing directory to use the needed resources...
Restarting adb server...
Looking for device...
The script will not continue if your phone is not connected.
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *

it will set there indefinitely. It never gets any further. I think this is some how phone related. I have tried to run this on 2 different computers with the same result. I have installed htc sync, uninstalled it, turned of security essentials, phone is on debugging mode, charge only, fast boot turned off. Does any one have any idea why I can't get any further than this? I have not tried a factory reset yet.

You'd be better posting on the xda forum for an answer. I'm not sure what the issue would be.

try turning off your anti virus software and uninstall htc sync from your computer...should work then

make sure each time the phone reboots that it is in 'charge only' mode and 'usb debugging' is on. seems like i had to do that twice while running bubby's scripts.

Same problem.

Had same thing happen. when it does this just check and make sure your usb debug mode is on once i enabled that again it automatically started running again.
