Since the pie update cannot hear notifications with bluetooth

[Android Central Question]

Samsung Note 8 , pie update =The notifications only heard in headset if on .so I have to have the earbud in ear all day.
Really do like that ,does anyone have a solution? Thanks for reading

Some folks on a security camera forum are reporting that since the update to Pie, they cannot hear the alerts from their cameras. Supposedly, the volume for these alerts slowly ramps up, the way the alarm clock alarm does, but since these alerts are brief, they are fairly well muted for all intents and purposes, and cannot be reliably heard. I'm not sure if this is the same issue or not.

Try forgetting the device in your connection/bluetooth settings. All of my notifications that I have come through with sound on my galaxy watch.
