Single take camera mode

I use Single Take. In one take you can get all the shots listed on the screenshot I posted.

I use it on camping trips. Last summer I had a campsite with a rolling river & beautiful meadow beyond it. One single take gave me 12 shots of various clips, videos, applied filters & a time-lapse that I love. I had other shots containing turkey vultures in flight & geese swimming on the river. To me it's more versatile than to keep tapping the shutter button trying to get one good shot.

I also use it to try & take pictures of my parrot Louise. Some members here know of my phone hating parrot. I won't go into that, but if I have the phone in my hand, she retreats & hides. It's hard to achieve a decent picture. But Single Take allows me to land some cute shots, as I can place the phone on a stand & divert her attention while it's capturing her. Example, popping her head out from her hiding spot, hissing at the phone then returning to hide.

I find it most useful when there's movement from the subject.

Thanks BerryBubbles that is the kind of reply I was hoping for.
My first use of it didn't really give me a sense that I would use it.
Your input has encouraged me to give it a try.

You are most welcome.

I don't always get the results I want on the first try. Sometimes It takes 3 attempts, or panning the shot differently. At times, the camera must not find the subject matter interesting enough & doesn't produce all the effects. I always add the 5 seconds while Single Shot is taking the shots. I captured a doe crossing a stream once, but when she saw me, she froze & just stared. I ended up with a beautiful basic shot, but the effects were not as nice as I had hoped.

Then sometimes, I strike gold.

I hope you find some 'gold' shots too!
