SIRI will soon be able to read minds!

Their computers are original tech . But iphone is not an invention just a refinement of older technology. Not even the name is original there was an iphone before the iphone. Apple sued for the rights and won despite the original device being out long before their product.
Watch the keynote and look at how excited people were by those features, it was a complete and utter revamp of mobile devices and you know it.

Revamp doesn't mean invented. You questioned him on apple inventing things im just pointing out that they didn't invent anything with the iphone they just took slot of other technologies threw it in a pot and cooked up an iphone. Which was great yes. But it wasn't an invention.

Siri was not an apple product it was an app that was later aquired and baked in.

SIRI was at one time a standalone app in the app store. Apple bought the company that created it in 2010 and "incorporated" Siri into iOS. But their marketing and presentation made it seem as though they had created Siri all on their own.

Admittedly they crippled the supported devices dbecause back when I was a iphone4 owner I was pissed( but then I got a 4S for free lol)

I think it's safe to say the iMac, iPhone, and iPad were not the first computer, smart phone, or tablet, respectively. Those products existed, Apple definitely didn't invent them.

The iPod was not the first digital media player, and iTunes was simply a dressed up, patented, legal pay service which already existed in other forms of file sharing/transfer services like Napster at the time. Apple is (was?) genius at repackaging existing tech into well designed products of their own and marketing the heck out of them, making those unaware of tech history believe that Apple invented all of it themselves. I am not anti-apple at all, I use an iPod and iTunes still from time to time and have been doing so since they were released. But I know my history and how to see things in the correct context. :)

But they made all that old technology and completely revamped the UI, the iMac was not the first computer, but it was one of the first to have a a GUI and made for not only just enthusiasts. The iPhone was just a revamp once again but a humongous one that changed how we interact with phones.before the iPhone Android prototypes looked like blackberries, after the iPhone it had a touch UI, so they did change things in a big way.

There were touchscreen devices before the iPhone, as far back as 2001 there were phones with touchscreens.

Ericsson Introduces The New R380e - Mobile Magazine

" And when you open the front flip, R380e transforms to an advanced personal organizer with a large landscape display with an easy-to-use touchscreen keyboard and handwriting recognition for fast and easy input."

Again, I would never argue that Apple's products weren't better than anything else prior to them, my point is simply that they did not invent any of the tech used in their mobile devices.

But that thing did not have multi touch and the touch screen on that was not very smooth, I'm not trying to start an argument but I amj ust saying Apple was the one that implemented pinch to zoom and other things of that nature. Yes I understand they never invented things but they sure as hell refined old tech until it seemed completely new.

That thing looks like it was before multi touch screens in general, so yeah, it didn't support multi touch.

Which is why I say Apple did indeed do a lot of things that people are not aware of (or just simply want to ignore facts.)

They did not invent multi touch technology either. They bought that technology as well. But they certainly incorporated it very nicely into the iPhone to bring it into mainstream mobile technology.

There were touchscreen devices in 1993.

Were they for the mass consumer? were they quick and responsive? Apple refined stuff and everyone here knows it.
