size wise 6P vs Note 5

Also, you are asking for an opinion from (for the most part) 6P owners... what kind of opinion do you think you are going to get from them?

He'll hope to get honest opinions regarding his questions. Why should he assume otherwise?

I've got a 6p and I can tell you, the 6p is huge. The bezels are stupid large. It's pretty much unusable in one hand with any level of comfort. Can it be done, yes, but it isn't easy. And I'm a 6 foot 8 former division 1 basketball player. My hands aren't small. The phone is big. The feel of the note 5 and MXPE are much more manageable.

The 6P is only approximately 1/4 inch wider than the Note 5 and less than half an inch taller. Both devices are virtually the same size. If the Note 5 is manageable then a miniscule 1/4 inch more is not gonna a difference. If you meant the S6 verses the 6P then you have a point.

An honest opinion from people that all purchased the 6P... seems a little bias to me. After all, for the most part, you are not get any opinions from non-6P owners (they usually don't just wonder in here and answer questions).

The iPhone 6S+ and the 6P are nearly identical. I went to Best Buy and felt the two phones (iPhone and Note) side-by-side. The Note definitely feels smaller and more manageable. I don't know if that has to do with something other than the dimensions. The curves and textures of phones can make them feel more manageable or less manageable. But, the Note 5 definitely felt significantly easier to manage.

That said, I still bought a 6P.

Anyone have both on hand that can compare the two size wise? From videos I've seen, the 6P appears way too big next to it. Looking to hear impressions of the size from someone who has both.

Video and measurements can obviously help a ton but there's something about just having both devices or one in hand. I just came from the Note 5 to the 6P, today. The phones are pretty much the same size, however, the only difference I've noticed in the hand is the lower part of the device being a little longer feeling then the Note 5. That's obviously for the screen and mainly the speaker but that's the only thing I'm having, if any, struggle with. It's just a different handset which will take a couple weeks to get used to. I'm very happy with the change!
