This is a pretty basic question, but I've asked and looked all over the place without much luck, and with more error than is healthy for my trial and error approach.
I'm setting my phone book up 'properly' for the first time, ever, and have found a bit of a snag. What dimensions and aspect ratio should a contact photo have? The box that appears when choosing a photo is straightforward enough, but it then stretches the selections' aspect ratio to suit the 'widescreen' contact photo. Obviously, thumbnails are made for lists, logs etc, but it is this initial phonebook entry (Contacts entry) that has me confused. I'm using photos, all at high res, so I can crop / resize them to be anything I want, so long as I know what's required.
