It is interesting how there are all these differences. I am a beta user but have the _RC00.phone_samsung_dynamic version. The latest app update was this morning. My Advanced settings screen is:

I have the same app version on ATT firmware phone and my menu FINALLY showed the iPhone emojis option sometime this afternoon and I did not have a software update. Like someone said earlier - it definitely looks like this is all being controlled on the server side to dictate what we see - though there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to who sees what!
I am on Verizon and had two app updates today but still no changes I can see.
I'm afraid to update because categories are working but I'm still missing the iPhone reaction option.
I'm using the 20220308 dynamic version of the app. I've been avoiding the play store update and installing an apk from apk mirror because I do not want to lose the categories.
Can anyone say whether they lost any features after updating once they became available?
It'd be nice if they actually indicated in Play some of the things updated in each version. Instead of that default "bug fixes and stability improvements" under "what's new." Very enlightening!
On my Samsung Galaxy Z fold 3 I have the Categories tab which is still on 4.0 but on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra which is on 4.1 doesn't have the Categories listed. Crazy. So has anyone gotten a text that is under the business category and it should be under personal or vice versa? I can't figure out how to move it from one category to another.
I have it but I haven't had anyone to text me from an iPhone to check it. It's in settings- advance. I'm running this version of Google Messages.View attachment 343416
HmmOff topic a bit, but why is there no option to snooze texts on the Samsung version of Messages either? Is that a Pixel only feature?
As discussed in other threads, we don't think the version number has nothing to do with it. It's the Google server side which pushes the features randomly.
