...thus far my Skyrocket seems to be holding up. I went to get a Ghost Amor installed today. It is on order, and will be installed on Wednesday or Thursday next week.

Sorry, I never had it installed. I returned my Skyrocket yesterday. My battery needed charging twice a day at least (listening to music and using the device in general), so I decided to go back to my iPhone. It does all this seamlessly and I still only charge every two days.
I'll just have to wait for a newer iPhone and really hope they make one with a slightly larger screen...

Yup, if this were my primary phone I would have to return it too. On a recent business trip I found myself completely distracted by tracking battery life.
It's too bad, I really do love the device. But it barely made it to lunch.
Which extended battery do you have ??

Do you need a different battery cover for the battery to fit or can you use the stock cover? How much extra battery life do you get with that new battery?
It fits with the stock battery cover which is nice. I seem to be getting a few extra hours of battery life. So far I like it a lot.
I exchanged my 4S that I had about a week yesterday for the Skyrocket. I was having to recharge the 4s battery after about 7 hours (10% left) with my normal use. I was hoping for a much better experience and this was one of the "might sway me" factors.
With a similar set of apps and usage on the SR, I still have 40% battery left after 7 hours.
I'm sure that will vary on some days, but initially I'm impressed with the battery life over the 4S, especially considering the much bigger screen size and LTE usage when not on WIFI.
I'm never far from a car charger or power outlet, but I still may pick up the 2250 mAh battery...

First, what exactly is the screen shot of you guys are posting and how do you post a screen shot from a phone?
Screenshot - hold the home button, and press the power button
Calibrate - every so often you let the battery run all the way down, and then fully charger, versus doing a 'top up'...
You know, I'm never far from a charger of sorts. But, me switching back to my iPhone 4S was more about the 'principle' of it. Meaning, if I have two devices, and I use them the same, why does one give me two-to-almost three days of battery use (iPhone 4S), and the other barely 12 hours? Now, I understand that the screen on the Skyrocket is bigger, but seriously, is it just that Apple make their products totally different to anyone else?
1. I want at least 15 hours of battery life from a device (with normal use)
2. a decent size screen
3. decent hardware
Is that asking for too much?
