SLCD black screen in recovery solution

here you go guys no more threads about this issue.


this is for everyone who's getting a blackscreen with white stripes on the sides..


load this on the root of your sd card:

load up hboot by pressing vol down and power button, then press vol up to upgrade..

the file must be in the root of ur sd card meaning it cant be inside of a folder and also leave it .zip ..

does hboot tell u no image ? and it must be named the same

yes thats what it is telling me and what exactly should it be named i didnt rename it yet

if u didn't re name it then ur good.. the only way to fix this is to format ur sd card fat32.. it will erase everything from it

your rooted just cuz u have black screen on recovery dont worry after u format ur sd card to fat32 place the file and retry

o yea i did it and no more black screen with white lines

okay so i just downloaded a rom and i went to flash it it said to back up existing rom and wipe data and cache i x both of them and it rebooted. when it rebooted i got the black screen again

dont use rom manager its evil!! btw if ur in recover and press the power button it will turn the screen off
