Sleep button issue

Just recently my screen on/off button has totally stopped working. I can't even push it down to turn the screen on or off. Is this common or just my phone being a bum. Any help would be great.

Power button doesn't work at all? Hmmm. Pull the battery and let it reset and see if that does anything for you; barring that it might be a hardware issue. Dropped it or anything like that?

I can't even push it down, and no drops or anythin. Had it since launch day. Love this phone.

Wow. I've never heard of anything like that. Definitely a hardware issue. Maybe call in to Verizon for a warranty replacement?

Just left the store, they can't replace under warranty but I can use my insurance to get a refurbed one. My mom has an upgrade on her account she might give me since she is leavin verizon so if I get it ill just get the Droid 2
