I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a solid sleep tracker for the moto 360? I know there was 1 that was terrible in battery life and wasn't useful at all.

Any ideas?

I don't think you will have much luck with that. In order to prevent severe battery drain, it would likely need specialized hardware and/or a specialized API to deal with continuous monitoring of motion.

Look at `Sleep as Android` on Google Play. If you dig in far enough there is Android Wear and Tien support.

I'll be honest, if I were really interested tracking my sleep habits, I would look for a more dedicated solution for three reasons:

1. The battery on your moto isn't going to let you wear it during the day, and not charge it night . You personal schedule might let you work around that limitation, but generally speaking, the battery life alone pretty much kills this as an option.
2. To my knowledge, this wasn't a primary design function of the moto -- so getting good results with any software seems unlikely.
3. There are a lot of of other options out there that cost less than the moto and are designed for this as one of their primary purposes, and are engineered accordingly.

Wear the mot during the day, your sleep tracker at night while your moto charges. Budget allowing of course.

Going to give it a try. Looks pretty interesting.

How did it work out for you? I have been using it the past 4 nights with Theater Mode enabled. Every night I had the watch charged to 100% at the start and half the nights I woke up after 8 or so hours with 60% battery life and the other 2 nights the battery was drained. Unfortunately this is the only sleep tracking app I could find that supports Android Wear. I'm interested in your experience and whether you find any other decent app.

I'm a new Moto 360 user and have started using Sleep As Android. With the latest updates to the watch, while using theater mode, I can use sleep tracking and typically see 30% battery usage for 8 hours. I should note that it seems on the 3rd night there will be excessive battery drain. What I have found is that if I reset the watch each night, there has been zero risk of high battery drain.

Not ideal, but works for now.

It charges so quickly if you put it on charge immediately after waking up until you left for work/school I bet it would give it a full charge again!
