Slickwraps Panda-fication

Happy to look into that. What is your order #?

Actually, just got the skin in today, but didn't get the tempered glass screen protector the site indicated would be included with every order for Pixel 2 / Pixel 2 XL skins - not sure if that was just an error, if the screen protector is to be shipped later, or what happened. Truthfully, it's not a grave concern for me as I'd already purchased and installed a screen protector, though would appreciate it so as to have a backup should my existing one ever crack, etc. Order # 3494014.

I'll put the skin on sometime later today when I have time, and provide feedback with photos here. Based on past experience, I'm hoping and expecting it will be very positive.

Edit - under the heading "What's Inside" labeled on the packaging, it does list "HD Screen Protector*" -- with an asterisk, which below gives the qualifier "*HD screen protector included when applicable"

The site still shows the promotion continuing to run indicating that it should indeed be applicable.Capture.JPG

Sorry for the picture quality - taken with Nexus 6.

Not my best work in application, but still came out pretty good. I don't have a hairdryer as recommended for the install - I'm sure the seams and edges would be smoother with its use.

Dude, it looks great! How hard on a scale of 1-10 (1 easiest, 10 hardest) was application, you feel?
I'm waiting for mine to arrive.

In terms of general difficulty, about a . No special tools mandatory, though they recommend a hair dryer, and it shouldn't take 5 minutes to do it. It was more difficult than other skins I've applied in the past because the one I applied here didn't cover the glass section, meaning I had fewer 'landmarks' against which to set the original position.

What I found worked well was to first line it up to center the FPS, then level the edge against the bottom of the shade (it's a perfect cut). From there it only took the tiniest adjustment to make sure the G logo was perfectly centered, and from that point on it was trivial.

Slickwraps does produce video guides for applying their skins to specific phones - I'm sure they'll have an easier way to accurately apply in the guide for the Pixel 2 / 2 XL - but this worked pretty well with minimal fuss.

FYI

If you do not have a hair dryer just use a portable heater if you have one lol.. Thats what I did on my nexus 5X skin lol..
