slimport is...terrible?

Got an official analogix slimport adapter yesterday.

Every movie I try to play shows very jerky video, almost to the point of being unwatchable.

Is there a fix for this or am I doomed with my Nexus 7 again not being to normally project video to a TV.

That's not what I wanted to hear mine is on the way did you try trying a different video player like maybe MX player or bs player?

I always used the stock gallery app that comes with the tablet.

Are these different video players better then the stock launcher?

The idmi cable im using is only like 4 feet long so that shouldnt matter either.

This is a huge letdown if this is the best video is going to get with a slimport adapter.

Now that you mention it,
When I first started a flick on Netflix it had some stutter as well.. I thought nothing of it at the time ( And I had a few drinks..) but I remember going hmmm? that was strange.. time to do some video testing...

Yeah MX player is a stronger video player try that out and see what happens

MX and Dice players are not compatible yet with the N7 FHD. I am trying to use an adapter that I forgot I had that works with the wife's GS3. A "Skiva" (no name brand) and it does not work at all.
