Slingbox / Slingplayer performance?

Slingplayer works mostly okay with my Thunderbolt. Does the processor in the Rezound enhance performance, or is the data connection still the limiting factor?

I can run it in HQ mode over LTE and WiFi without problems. When I 'back' out of the application it does force close but no biggie.

Since performance is based on upload speed, my Rezound is definately better than my Tbolt..
