Slow Charging Droid X on USB

Hello Everyone,

Im not sure exactly when it started happening but to me it seems like it could have possibly been after the Froyo update. Whenever I charge my phone by USB it seems to take a really long time. I am running Mac OSX Snow Leopard so I can't update the motorola driver. Any ideas? Anyone else having this problem?

I've always had a slower charge thru the USB when compared to the adapter.

Different USB ports possible have different current output. Check a different port.

USB typically is slower than a wall charger due to current output.

USB data port connections are restricted by design and spec to 500ma max, whereas AC charger connections will supply about twice that.

If you tap USB Connections while charging change it to charge only and see if that helps. I noticed that also but I usually have USB Mass Storage selected in the car for music playing
