Anyone else getting choppy video playback during the Slow-mo sections of a video? Even at 240fps in good light I'm getting choppy slow-mo playback. The weird part is that older slow-mo video plays back buttery smooth, even those in lowlight. Just noticed this after the latest Google Camera update

Anyone? Seems to be fixed for a while after a reboot and then goes all choppy. I've got a feeling it's something to do with the encoding of the slow motion video

Fluorescent lighting will cause this due to refresh rate. Try outdoors under natural lighting to see if it's different.

Agree with above, I've seen choppiness even when interference from a TV is in the background but in natural light its smooth. Just something to keep in mind, its physics not necessarily the software.

Nope, I was filming some slow-mo at the pool (which was an open outdoor pool) and it came out choppy when the video switches to the slow-mo part. It does get fixed with a reboot, I wonder if it's something to do with Google Photos and/or Google Camera. I notice that it also takes quite a while for the phone to let me playback the slow-mo video too (roughly under a minute) - otherwise I see the spinning loading circles.
