Slow-motion problem

When I record in slow motion and try to playback, my video doesn't play the entire thing in slow motion.

I go to "editor" and find that certain parts are marked for slow motion. I can then drag a bar to extend more playback time to slow motion.

Is there a way to have it default so that the entire video plays slow motion without having to monkey around?

Not sure why they do it that way but from what I can see there is no other way.
