I have an s7 from ATT that the latest updated borked. (I made a post in the general forum) Anyways I am not interested in rooting the phone I was just wondering if I could restore it to stock with the original version of marshmallow. I do not want to void the warranty though. I should mention a Samsung tech at Best Buy did reflash with marshmallow 6.01 with the july 1st patches.....

I replied to your other thread, not sure if you saw it: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...security-patch-kernel-messed-up-my-phone.html

Technically, you can revert back to an older firmware. However, you need to find the specific software for your model S7. Note all S7's have the same software. Also, you'll be prompted to install the update if you ever are able to revert it. I would not recommend reverting, as the update not only is an OS update but includes important security updates that you should have.
