I'm a male with a small wrist and have yet to see the moto 360 in person. I'm interested in the watch, but not sure if it's going to look ridiculous. Can any small wrist people post pics please? If possible a size of your wrist too?

Thanks

Trust me, no matter how many pictures you see it's NEVER going to be what you think. Here's what I did for the Note 3 and what I intended to do for the Moto360 until I saw all the tests and reviews (from actual users, not the ones who rushed out a 'review' from the hands-on at the Motorola event) and saw that the watch won't last a day, and I know everyone's crazy about wireless charging, but I'm not about to spend 100 bucks on chargers to have at work, car, and home just because my $250 watch can't keep up. But I digress.

Basically, take the dimension specs from the Internet and make a cutout. Or draw it on your arm. If you're feeling adventurous even go as far as making the 3D cardboard model. From the official Moto360 site, this watch has a 46mm diameter with an 11.5 mm height (that's 1.81in diam x 0.45in height for our non-metric friends).

The watch isn't very big in my opinion and I have small wrists for a guy. I usually wear a G-Shock or a modern analog watch. The 360 is smaller, lighter, and more comfortable than both of my other watches. I have watch collector friends and almost all new watches are very large. I wouldn't worry about it. Here's a pic with it on my wrist though.

Love the functionality of the watch but it is slightly too big in diameter and extremely thick. I find the watch gets caught between my wrist and sleeve when wearing long sleeve shirts.

After only two days I know this is going back to Moto.

I hadn't thought about long sleeves until now... Humm...

How about battery life? Your first two days must mean tinkering and playing with it as much as you can, right? How has it fared so far?

I love what the phone does. If battery life was an issue I would find a way to recharge it during the day. The thickness already bugs me and I know in time I'm not going to wear it and it will sit on my desk.

Something else to consider with thick watches... you (I) can tend to knock it on door frames when walking through them.

Cheers

Anyone who thinks this is too big had never owned an Invicta. This just me an my personal experience with watches of all sizes from 42mm to my biggest 55mm. Watches are made to be seen. It's a part of styling. I have watches thicker and bigger and when wearing long sleeves I use the secondary button to tighten so my watch doesn't go in the sleeve and if it is then loosen to the first button . I'm not sure what to tell you but ideal watch size for me is 46-48mm. This is only a 46mm. I'm sorry I just don't get how people think this is big. And for a digital display I'll take 1.8 inch screen any day than squinting. Personal opinion

Exactly, personal opinion. If the watch fits... wear it. :) I go by gut feelings and this watch for me is too big. I tried it and I don't like the size. It's the same with these larger phones coming out, it's not meant to be "liked" by everyone.

And they probable have never owned an Invicta because they thought that one, too, was too big. Yes, watches are usually a fashion statement more than a tool to tell time (go figure) nowadays, but that doesn't mean that you have to like it. Personally, I don't buy big watches because they just don't appeal to me. I like to wear the same watch no matter what, so long sleeve is a possibility and if my watch gets in the way, I'll probably stop wearing it. I also like my watch to keep up with me and be able to survive my morning shower and pool sessions in the afternoon.

That being said, I still don't think this watch is too big (it's not small, mind you, but it's not huge as others I've seen). BUT I do find the battery life too appalling. I don't mind charging it every night (I do that with my phone and I'm OK with that) but if actively using the watch for what it's supposed to do won't get me through a single day, it's not something for me. With this, unless you have a spare wireless charger (which is not as cheap as a 2-dollar microUSB cable) this probably won't make it through your Friday night out unless you go home and recharge first, or carry around your charging base wherever you go.

Good luck with squinting. And um watches has always been a statement of fashion not just nowadays. People who understand that has always worn watches.

Same with me. Only I couldn't stand the pixelated display and dropped connections.

I have a g-shock watch that is the same diameter as the 360 and actually bulkier in height. Yes, my gshock gets caught on long sleeve shirts but since the moto is thinner and smoother, I'm thinking it will be better.

I would not worry about the watch being too big for your wrist though. Go to best buy and put one on.

Hahaha, the title of this thread, taken out of context, sounds like a Craigslist ad for a very specific fetish. ♡

I have always had really small, thin, wussy wrists, so this might look rather silly on me, but I'll take a photo and return to this thread when mine arrives (shipping 24th I believe).

Gladly! Except no BestBuys in my area have them in stock hehe. I really want to try this one out alongside a Gear Live, but I still fret about the battery :(

I'm 5'-6 ,145 lbs. I have small wrists. Here's what mine looks like. 2 pics, slightly rotated on the second pic to hopefully give you a better idea of how it looks on a small wrist (about 7" in circumference).

Aside from the 'flat tire' thing (that's what they're calling it, I just tag along), that doesn't look too big! I guess when you zoom into the wrist with no other external reference (like your keyboard or coffee mug) it's hard to tell the actual size. That looks only a bit larger than what I'm currently wearing, if a bit thicker.

How's your battery life? Do you use it 'enough'?

I deliberately took the photo from a slight distance to hopefully show the watch size compared to the arm and wrist. The close up photos really just show the watch. It's a bit thicker than what I used to wear, but I used to wear extremely thin watches. As many have noted, it is no thicker than your typical "fashion watch".

Battery life: I pulled my watch off the charger at 6am this morning before showering, and now at 2:40pm I'm at 49%. Last night I was at 24% at 10pm and fell asleep in my recliner. I woke up at 1am and the watch was at 21% which is when I returned it to the charger and went to bed proper. I use my watch mainly for telling time, screening calls, and swiping away text and mail messages. I have Facebook and twitter notifications turned off. I played with Facer a good bit yesterday and today, so that's a little battery life I won't use ordinarily. For my first two days of use, I'd say it easily provides me with an all day experience. For heavier users, it may not.

BTW, don't shower with the watch on. The water will activate the screen. And thanks to those of you for pointing out my mistake on circumference vs diameter.
