Smart Bulletin on homepage - how to remove?

Pardon the probably simple question - I found a few posts on the net on how to remove the Smart Bulletin (>settings>home>slide smart bulletin to "off") - except, for some reason my AT&T G3 doesn't have this functionality listed there. I've got the "LG Health" option listed instead, with no "smart bulletin" in sight. Would love to free up this space for other widgets!

Have you tried holding down on it and then dragging to the 'remove' icon?

That's so cool! (I hadn't seen that on anywhere before - every post I saw had different instructions)
Just moved over from the iOS world last week and finding that things are a bit more complicated here - I'll probably need another week to feel completely comfortable

If you like the weather widget without the smart bulletin, after you remove the widget, go to add widgets to the screen and there is a nicer weather widget without the smart bulletin.

That is how I have it.
