I'm in the market for a clock radio for my toddlers. They have a traditional am/fm which wakes them up to a talk/morning music station. I want to upgrade to this century without breaking the bank. We have a Google home mini in the kitchen. So it's either an Ihome for $100+ or a Bluetooth speaker with clock and a GoogleChrome audio which will probably run the same. Any suggestions?

Have you thought about buying some supercheap/used phone and using it only as a clock/media device? You wouldn't be able to use it as a conventional FM radio, since that requires headphones to be connected to act as the antenna -- but you could install TuneIn Radio instead.

I have actually. Once I gave up on the radios. I am going to get a cheap ($20) radio with aux and usb. I also have a few old phones that I was using for surveillance cameras. Thanks for answering.
