I've had to keep using my fingerprint to open my phone even though I have my watch linked as a trusted device in smart lock. I checked smart lock and the trusted devices option is missing. Any solutions?
Thanks

Google are supposedly reworking this feature, so it will either come back better or not at all depending on how they feel.

I have seen trusted devices disappear a few times over the past several years. There was a thread about it once, with a quick fix to bring it back. Can't find that older thread now....searching....

Here is one of many threads about this.

If you search the Forum list for "smart lock" you will see a ton of posts about smart lock options disappearing for no reason and some quick fixes to make it work again.

Running into the same issue today. Tried toggling Extend Unlock (I'm on A14 Beta) on and off under Trusted Agents with no luck.

Gone for me as well. I wonder if it disappeared with the September security update or August Google Play system update. fuzzylumpkin is probably right about it being related to a new unlock feature for Wear OS that's coming soon.

Closest I get is currently is Trusted Credentials. Maybe it will be there on my Pixel 8...

You have to search for "Smart" and it's way down at the bottom of the results, under "Security", accordingly.
Or, it's under Settings -> Security -> More Security Settings -> Smart Lock.

It's been pretty reliable for me for quite awhile now. There was a period where I had to sort of reset a single device The device would be connected, but failing to keep the (un)lock functional. By going into the Trusted Devices in the above, and clicking on the device, it would start functioning as expected. It's been some months since this part got fixed...
