Smart lock trusted location doesn't work

Noticed this behavior too. Have Smart Lock set to stay unlocked when I'm at home. Most of the time works, but sometimes it doesn't. Stays locked.

I just plastered my home area with about 5-6 trusted places... Sometimes when I open maps it shows my location a street away from where I am, so I made everything in a two block radius a trusted location lol.... Seems to be working so far

I finally got mine to work correctly. In location settings my setting was marked as "high accuracy" but there is an option right under it that is called "improve accuracy". There are options to set your wifi, bluetooth or both to scan nearby devices even when bluetooth or wifi are off. I did the wifi one and boom- the location Smart Lock started working.

It's a bad joke. I can get it to work SOMETIMES by adding a new 'trusted place' once or twice a day.

ONCE OR TWICE A DAY!!! They tell me it used to work fine. I don't get it. But it is totally infuriating. And, as always, the lack of consistent, reliable info from Google/Android -- or anyone -- is even MORE infuriating.

When was the last time you were able to find a Google feature/setting by following instructions on Google's own help forums? A long damn time, I'm guessing.

I've had SEVEN Android devices, four phones, 3 tablets, and the 'help' from Google/Android is a blinking, pathetic joke.
