Smart Switch on Mac Stopped Working

Hey everyone so, kinda odd, but I plugged my s6 edge into my Mac to do a backup and opened Smart Switch and all of a sudden it's not recognizing my device is plugged in. It begins charging but nothing else. Then once smart switch is open I go up to preferences and try a software update by checking the "Update Pre-Download" and click OK then it crashes and says "SmartSwitch quit unexpectedly". Anyone else having issues with SmartSwitch lately? It was working perfectly fine before.
