Smart switch or start over

I have always used smart switch to mover everything including apps from slab phone to slab phone. this will be my first foldable. For those of you who went from slab phone to foldable previously, have you used smart switch to moves apps also or just reinstall all apps from scratch?

I've used Smart switch through the PC and wirelessly from slab to foldable no issues whatsoever

Yeah no problem at all as the apps are going to load up on the phone and they have worked perfectly for me on previous new set ups .. as always do a backup.. you never know once in awhile you might have to do a fresh install but hopefully you won't need to once you're up and running..

I haven't had any issues using the smart switch feature.

I always prefer starting fresh on a new device and using smart switch to copy only photos, messages and call records.
