Did you check Setup - Lock Screen - Smart Lock?

This feature exists for the unlocked version.

Settings --> Lock Screen --> Smart Lock (second one down)

I don't know because I don't have at&t, but while we're on the smart lock topic, it's never worked reliably for me on any phone. I have my Galaxy watch 3 set as a trusted devices and my home set as a trusted location, I'd say about half the time I pick up my phone it's locked...

It's been very reliable for me... wait, I think that was a dream. >.<

I agree, it works sometimes and other times it's like it has no idea where the hell it is or what is around it.

I needs work, a lot of work... >.<

Same on my AT&T version

Bluetooth consistently works for me. If your watch goes out of Bluetooth range, or hasn't unlocked for a long period of time, it will relock.

I don't care for this feature because security issue. Anyone can get to my phone and use it if they are near me. Overly caution? No! Just common sense.
