Smartbench 2010 scores with Epic 4G

Wow, I uninstalled a couple of large applications, approximately 50MB total, so now I have approximately 100MB free space, internal. Versus only 50MB in my test above. And now my score is

682 Productivity
2208 Games

EDIT: I don't think my available internal free space had anything to do with the better scores. Shortly afterwards, my scores were lower than expected again.

Getting 1062 Productivity and 2372 Games on Midnight 2.9.3 ROM. I don't think this is very accurate benchmark however as every other standard benchmark seems to blow away the competition.

Bottom line seems to be that 2.2 does add a nice performance boost in the productivity area.

So, I got a low score (low for the epic I mean) and I am the kind of person that really likes to have the most powerful thing out there. I was getting around 500 productivity and 1500 games. So, I performed a factory reset. I know, I'm nuts just for a benchmark! But the phone performs faster. Much faster. And my numbers are:

759 Productivity
2680 Games

Pretty happy now. This is an awesome benchmark app because it separates the graphics and the arithmetic, so I can actually see the difference.

You're not crazy. I also did a factory reset and I'm consistently getting higher scores now.
