Hey Everyone, recent (like less than 24 hour) ex-iphone user. Struggling to adjust.
Currently running Google Pixel 2 XL, on Oreo.
I am having an issue finding a suitable replacement for iOS messenger. Using the stock messenger I found that there was no way to see the collected MMS media of a conversation (a must have for me). So I switched to Textra - Great! Customizable, I can see all media in the conversation at a click of a button... but I only get "New Textra Message" on lock screen... Not actually showing me WHO sent me the new message from the lock screen..
I don't want to enable the ability to read my messages from the lockscreen for privacy reasons - so now I'm searching again. Read that Chomp SMS is good for this lockscreen issue - but has no MMS media collection... I'm at a loss.
I need suggestions.
TL;DR - I need a SMS messenger app that shows who sent me a message on the home screen, without showing the content of the message. And it needs to have a way to view all MMS from each conversation easily.
