SMS Delay on HTC Wildfire S - Virgin Mobile

Has anyone experienced an issue with texting on their Wildfire S from Virgin Mobile? Ever since I bought the device, messages that are being pushed towards my phone are delayed. Sometimes ranging from 2-5 minute delay or sometimes even 20. I contacted Virgin and they've reprogrammed my phone for a few times already and I am almost certain its an issue with the phone.

Usually that is a network issue.... That happened to me a lot back in the dark ages when I had Verizon. I had many different phones and it did that to me on all of them.
