SMS Notification Reminders?

Is there a simple way to get the phone to repeat its notification for SMS text incoming?

I have it set to vibrate only. I'd like it to vibrate again every 5 mins.

I've used market SMS apps in the past.... but it seems like we ought to be able to set reminder notifications in the stock SMS app.
